2015 Chapman Stick Workshop

Lodging and Meals

Lodging and meals are priced separately for the workshop allowing attendees the choice of using campus facilities or making their own arrangements.

Lodging

A range of accomodations are offered right on campus including a historic hotel, spartan residence hall units and rustic, cabin-style lodges. The campus is also very close to several wonderful tourist spots in case anyone wants to travel with their families and spend the evenings with them. Interlochen State Park is right across Highway M-137 and offers really nice camping facilities right on Duck Lake. The campus is also a short drive from Traverse City and also driving distance to smaller areas like Empire, Glen Arbor, Leland, Suttons Bay or the town of Interlochen.

See more on the alternatives for your family page.

Meals

Breakfasts include such standards as pancakes, scrambled eggs or cereal bar; with lunches and dinners featuring a salad bar and several main course selections. Vegetarian options exist at every meal as well. Students also have the option of opting out electing to bring their own meals or eat in the nearby town of Interlochen.
